Can’t seem to get this to sit at 90
degrees. What am I doing wrong?

No experience with that particular one, but maybe loosen the clamps up a bit and make sure they're fully inserted and biting the lip underneath the rail. Get it to sit at 90, then tighten everything up. There might even be shims or something else included to fill some gap.

Also, make sure you're using the correct rail for the correct side.

I took that seal off in between the rail and bed and it sits perfect now. We will see how much it leaks with out it.

I had this issue when installing mine. Took a good 15 minutes to figure out I didn't have the mounting clips fully inserted into the undercover rail. Once it fully engages the undercover rail will sit correctly.

Did you leave those foam strips on?

Yes. I did not remove anything form the rails. The mounting clips lock on in the undercover rail groove. Once you get that to happen the rail will be 90 degree.

This was with the foam removed going through the car wash not too bad. I tried again with the foam backing but couldn’t get it. I might try again later when I have more patience and it’s not 110 outside.

It doesn't look like the clips are sitting in the rail correctly. They should be 90 degrees to the rail.

Is that clamp sitting completely above that lip on the rail.

That is correct. The clip goes in at an angle and then you push on it to lock it into place on the rail.

I'm sorry that you're having trouble getting this installed! @RyanW good eye catching those clamps. What you may need is an extra set of hands to pull on the tonneau rails from the outside of the bed, flush to the bed, while you're installing the clamps.

Thanks man I appreciate the extra set of eyes and comments. I just got installed correctly and wow much easier once I got those clips set in there correctly.

Glad to hear you got it sorted out! I've really been impressed with mine. There are many improvements over my last Unodercover I bought 9 years ago.
