Not so many here but the real problem is dealers with Mark ups. I hope I can hold out for the order but may have to buy something before that as rentals are sooo expensive.

Ugh it's this crap that I worry constantly about but shouldn't... having to fully replace it. Subhunter I'm sorry that happened to you, glad you didn't hurt anyone else, and hope you have no lasting effects. You too JimMoran, sorry you went through that.
I've got the best insurance I could find, but rental coverage would stop after they say "Yep, it's totaled, here's your check." I'm guilty of using the CostcoAuto tool to build/price a replacement truck about once every other month so I'd already know exactly what to order but jeez what a headache. I don't want a unit off the lot, I want my specific built truck and for that I'd have to wait six months like a lot of us here did. Guess I'd buy a beater until then and sell it after those six months.
Ford killed off my color, Guard green. If I wanted that back, on a new truck, what's the option - order a white one and then pay $8K to get it professionally repainted? Vinyl wrap it? Just settle for a different color? Wonder if there's an insurance rider for paint lol.

I had a 2001 F150 Lariat that was green tan interior I traded for my 21. Was hoping to get green as well ended up with Leadfoot. Now ordering all over again ordered smoked quartz, no leadfoot anymore. I wish they had a rider that said they would deliver a suitable replacement, that way don't have to go through the car buying process all over again.
