Looks like a great time outdoors! Is that some kind of tracker on the neck of the doe?

Man! These kinds of posts make me want to get out and see this beautiful country! Awesome pics and very nice setup you got going on. That bumper is calling my name but I just put on a Tremor skid plate so I hate to scrap that look I was going for. During the trip was there ever a time In the back of your mind you were thinking how a Powerboost would be perfect right now? HA! I think about it at times since there was an Atlas Blue Powerboost right up the road from me, but I passed on it. I figured I wouldn't use it much plus the extra things that could go wrong.

9663mu: Definity God's country. Hard not to stop and feel real small and extremely grateful when you come off a tough trail climb, over a crest and into insane meadows, valleys, lakes, mountain views, awesome.

FirstTimeFord: Yeh I assume its a tracker on deer for state/fed game management.

Blue22: Yeh get out there. Truck, food, water, shelter, Go.
Love the 5.0 never looked back. Less failure points, no intercoolers to relocate for bumper n winch.
Get better mileage offroad than the V6 4 runners.
Have had to wait for them to use theyre rotopax before in Death Valley while I made it to gas station in eco mode with 2 full rotopax. LOL
Good throttle control 4Lo, M1, E locker, goes up just about anything and hauls ass on flats n up sand hills/dunes. Sound is priceless.
Got lowest AC power option but not enough watts to really run anything useful ie coffee maker.
Use Coleman stove n Stanley French press. Dunkin donuts coffee, raw sugar, vanilla coffeemate, on a cold morning...priceless.
The 145" wheelbase can be a challenge once in a while, but run with some Tundra's, same length and jus 8 inches longer than the couple Gladiators too. Just a few, 3 point turns on trails in 2 years. One nasty high center, breakover angle. RCI skids n welded sliders, thank God, got winched off by Gladiator, 3 pulls. Good to go. LOL

travis: Was hard to find bolt ons or pre fab for supercab. Maybe theyre available now. Rocky road, White knukle offroad etc. But BVO, Bear Valley Overland in Big Bear , CA. Awesome shop. They ordered steel, measured, bent cut n fabed em up from scratch, welded n painted. $1700, I think. Maybe closer to $2K once done. Hardest part is angles for rear brace way up to frame.
I posted pics under interior mods forum. here are some....

Off to cross the Mojave next month. (y)?

Nice! Maybe I’ll see you out on the trail sometime. I’m always up along the 395. Check out Cerro Gordo if you want to pucker a bit on a shelf road ;)

Nice. Someone mentioned a trail called something Gordo up there, Cerro Gordo sounds right. I think the more experienced guys did it before. I try to stay on the 6/10, non pucker trails, but we seem to end up with enough pucker up spots every once in a while.
We may do part of that on our next Death Valley trip, which is closed still, so we postponed to Spring but some of those trails got wrecked. so planning and intel is critical. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
I don't mind a moderate bench trail, or harder canyon trail, but put hard and bench together. ...ugh I'm getting nervous just thinking about it.

Trip, pics, doggo are amazing. But I am most envious of your custom rock sliders. I have been looking for frame mounted step/sliders for years, and yours are amazing. Well done, sir.

What great memories this brings back. I had a 1972 Blazer and made the Coyote Fiats trip 1973-74-75 with the Associated Blazers of CA club 4th of July weekends. At my age I don’t remember everything in my past, but I sure remember those trips. I always thought I was as close to heaven as I could get. I keep saying I will get back there someday. I even restored a 1972 Bronco to make the trip. Fuel injected, 4spd manual with overdrive, A/C, posi front and rear. But now I have a 21 PB 4x4 Limited too. Tough choice to dream about which to use.
