I think most people didnt understand what they were getting with a 3.73 rear end. More torque transfered to the wheels and more fuel consumption. My last truck with a 3.73 rear end got 10 mpg down hill with the wind behind it... that was also a 91 2500 silverado... but im also estatic to get 16+ mpg with a differential that large.

agreed. 3.73s, 33" ATs, no lower air dam, increased height, etc, I was impressed when Ford said 18mpg avg, would be stoked to get it. So if 16.5 is the real world avg, we should be seeing a 590-600 mile range on a full 36g tank. ?

Brought one home today. 402a, lead foot, torsen. Ordered 8/20, got x-plan pricing, unloaded a 2016 Tacoma. This truck is big by comparison, I’m used to stepping right out of the truck on the ground. Gotta use the running board! Fits in the carhole, though only about 6” of length to spare.

^ Love that color. I was getting ready to order a 2022 Tremor and they discontinued both the Lead Foot and Velocity Blue. My first and 2nd choice. Local dealer had a 2021 Lead foot Loaded Powerboost Lariat they tried to sell me the past week ( order from another customer finance fell through ) I just love the color and almost went with it, but Love the Tremor style and off-road capabilities a little more. To change the Lariat wheels/tires and lift would be even more expensive. Nice Tremor you have!!!

2019 M2 Competition. Was my sunshine car, but turned into my daily driver the last few months. A blast to drive, but not great shuttling kids around!

speaking of whom, my youngest dubbed the truck the Stealth 150, since it has a bit of the stealth bomber color going on.

Yes we should be getting somewhere around there, but I’m not. I filled up @ 27 to E pumped 31.817 Gallons of Premium 91 (which is what I pump every time I pump) and when I filled up I only got 483 to E, according to the pictures if you calculate 31.817 gallons Times 16.2 MPGs that equals to 515.4354 so the gas gauge should read that plus the 27 I already had before running out of fuel, and we supposedly have a 36 gallon tank, where is the rest, the reserve does not reserve 4 gallons, I had a 2019 f15 Lariat that I traded for my Temor and I was getting 620 miles per tank on a 36 gallon tank. So something is not right either we are not getting the 36 gallon tank or the cluster was not calibrated to the 36 gallon tank.

I concur. computer tells me I'm getting 17mpgs. math tells me I'm getting 16.5. that's 594-612 mile range when full. screen has never read above 500 miles to empty.

when I filled up last week I was 20 miles to empty and got 30 gallons on the fill. "topped off" multiple times and got to 30.5 gallons.

so, we do have the larger tank in my opinion, but it has a massive 6g reserve (100 mile range?)/ecu isnt calibrated to your point.

Still going on the original full tank from the Dealership (picked up last Wednesday). When I got in, I noticed around 620 miles to empty. 360 miles current odometer reading With about 202 miles to empty according to the gauge. Computer reads 17.5 mpg….

We’ll see how it all works out through the first couple of fill ups and getting out of “break in“ period. Computer is doing a lot of learning I assume.

Wish my garage was that big. We have a 2 car garage but its not quite long enough by about 6 inches because I have built in shelves along the front of my walls. Great looking Tremor! Also digging the magnetic tray on your tool box. Everyone should have one of those in their work area!

n00b questions for you guys since this is my first truck and first EB. What octane fuel are you guys using? Ive always used 93 but all my previous rides were high performance vehicles

I use 91. Its the highest we get in AZ.
