agreed. 3.73s, 33" ATs, no lower air dam, increased height, etc, I was impressed when Ford said 18mpg avg, would be stoked to get it. So if 16.5 is the real world avg, we should be seeing a 590-600 mile range on a full 36g tank. ?I think most people didnt understand what they were getting with a 3.73 rear end. More torque transfered to the wheels and more fuel consumption. My last truck with a 3.73 rear end got 10 mpg down hill with the wind behind it... that was also a 91 2500 silverado... but im also estatic to get 16+ mpg with a differential that large.
