I recently did a full transmission service on my 2023 F150 5.0 Tremor. I installed a PPE deep-sump pan, which adds about 2 qts give or take a bit to the total capacity. I noticed that in ProDemand, for my VIN, it calls for a hot-fluid check on the dip-stick between 3 and 4.

Based on what I have seen elsewhere, people have been filling their 10R80ss to between 5-6 (hot check). Not all F150s are the same, each is engineered to operate within a set of parameters based on the intended use of the vehicle. For instance, the Power Boost also calls for a hot check between 3-4 (If I'm not mistaken) on the dip-stick, where a normal F150 only calls for 5-6.

I added 9 quarts back into the truck to get it between 5-6 when hot. It took me half a quart to get it to 3-4. Does anyone have any evidence or advice as to whether ProDemand is correct or not? ProDemand gets up-to-date ford service manuals with Ford supplied technical images.

This is specific to the Tremor.

I have access to ProDemand also, I used a 2022 f150 tremor ecoboost as a test vehicle so I did not input a vin.

Mine says fluid level should be between 5 & 6 on my end.

Just for the case of testing, I did a 2024 f150 tremor with the 5.0 and it says the same. I forgot they came out with the 5.0 in 23’s in the tremors.
