21 Powerboost XLT FX4. 103k miles. I’ve had a shudder since 96k miles. It happens at about 30% throttle, especially if I’m towing, but my PIDs all look normal before, during, and after the shudder. Started in 3rd, but now happens in 3,4,5 when accelerating at about 30% throttle. If I give it more throttle it doesn’t do it. My torque converter doesn’t show slippage for more than 1 second, but that’s always been normal in many different instances. My trans temp isn’t getting excessively hot, I’m not throwing ANY codes, and it doesn’t do it when the trans is cold. Doesn’t matter what mode I’m in except Sport mode. Doesn’t do it as much unloaded as it’s almost regular when towing anything over 2k lbs. Dealership performed the TSB and it went away for about 24 hrs. My fuel mileage is normal, hell, every PID looks normal. Dealership won’t take it serious enough to diagnose, and just wanted to recommend replacing the transmission. Before I replace it, is there anything else anyone has found that could cause this? I’m seeing people replace their transmission and still have this issue. It is a relatively new issue that has gotten worse over time.
