Hi folks. Truck is a 2022 xlt 5.0, getting close to 50,000km, will be doing transmission fluid change the coming summer. Here is all the info I gathered for parts:
filter: FT202
filter seal: 7T4Z-7Z302-A
some site say it’s for 2008 - 2020 but this is the only relevant part number I can find.
transmission pan: ppe deep pan 328053600 or shallow pan 328053200 ?
I did see a post about a ppe pan fitment issue but it has a different part number: https://www.f150forum.com/f7/warning-ppe-transmission-pans-10r80-535875/
I tow pretty light and never had any issues with tranny temperature. I could do with the factory plastic pan, but would be nice to just have a fluid flush at 100,000km instead of dropping the pan.
now the hard part, measure fluid level… I’ll be using drive up ramps so the truck wouldn’t be perfectly leveled, my plan is to:
1. drive up the ramp.
2. Measure fluid level cold.
3. Refill fluid level cold to match the pre reading.
any input is appreciated.
