I have a 2021 super crew STX, towing a 24 foot trailer. Because of tight parking and narrow roads, I would prefer to avoid installing stock towing mirrors even though I like the look and functionality very much. Had anyone had a positive experience with clip on extensions that work well? I haven’t found anything that fits a 2021 model and gets decent reviews. I like the option of being able to put on the extenders when needed and take them off when done towing. Would appreciate some help and recommendations. Cheers

Looks like the same option as the post above. Glad to see e-trailer is now offering an option for 2021, last I looked they only had extensions available for models through 2020. Have anyone had good experience with these on a 2021? Do they extend enough to make this worth doing? Are they on tight enough to avoid rattling and vibrations?

Regardless of the feedback for my questions, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a set as I hadn’t seen anything else. They were supposed to be here in 2 to 3 weeks. Will report once I have a chance to use them

The stock mirrors are pretty close to being adequate, so the ones posted above should work well. I have tow mirrors ordered on my truck. I had strap on mirrors for my Taco I just sold.

I used the "Snap & Zap" extensions on my 2018 and they exceeded any expectations I had. I don't believe they have a model for the gen14's yet, but I'm only mentioning it because:
  1. I highly recommend the brand if/when they have a 2021+ compatible model
  2. They're still stashed away in the camper; if anyone has a need or use for extensions on a 2015-20 feel free to reach out!

Any know if you can swap from tow mirrors to the regular XLT mirrors?

It's worth a shot.
That should do it. large field of vision. Might be tough going through a drive though order line at the local fast food joint.
