Tow tech package or trailer package with 360

I’ve search and there are a ton that come up going one way or another.

looking to sometimes tow over 7k

ordered a 2022 f150 lariat high package. Class 4 hitch included and wanted to go with tech tow package. Was informed I could only tow 7k that way.

switched to trailer tow package with 360 cam at a added cost of 1k

has anyone confirmed if the trailer tow package is needed to tow over 7k?

The issue is nobody knows why....

According to Ford it is. No one can figure out what exactly that that extra money gets you though other than a green light to tow more from Ford.
