Tow mirror marker light broken ! Replace with OE or aftermarket ?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has replaced their tow mirror marker light either with OEM which i’m sure is expensive or with aftermarket LED’s.
How much work is involved in replacing marker unit ?

I thinking about going aftermarket and like what autoboost has to offer.

I have a question though, just came back from checking out the lighting on my side mirrors and not sure if they’re suppose to be on when switch is in the « auto » mode.

I was under the impression that they would come on just like all the other ones at night !

Isn’t too bad to replace. Just be careful pulling out the bottom mirror as they’re easy to shatter. This video helps with the install.

I was gonna post this same thing lol asking about OE vs aftermarket. Not sure which way to go. I do like the idea of getting smoked ones but I also like oem products.

I ended up going with boost auto marker lights. The quality of them are top notch. Before with the chrome cap and after with the black cap along with the smoked lens marker light.

Has anyone found Carbon FIber caps to replace the bright chrome OEM caps?
