These monsters (35x11.50) weigh 98.6 pounds.

Just a data point for the collective.

I've been putting together a spreadsheet to pick out tires for my new '24.

Great chart for comparison purposes. In my limited experience the actual weights are always higher that advertised. Diameter is always less.

Diameter yes, since this doesn't take into account the squish factor. Higher load rating should have less squish though.

I had some BFGs in 315/70x17. Advertised and mathematically at 34.7”

I measured them multiple times, tires alone, tires on wheels off vehicle, on vehicle on ground, on vehicle off ground. 0 psi - 50 psi. Those tires never measured more than 33.5”.

My current 37” Nittos are right at 36 - 36.5.

Oh yeah BFGs are always comically smaller than advertised.

96 pounds wow, so 42 pound tires are stock for 20" wheels. So 96-42=54 pounds more per tire.
54 pounds times 6 for inertia means you gained 324 pounds of unsprung weight. Can you feel the difference?

Did you put your stock wheels and tires on a scale? 42 pounds sounds really light to me for a mounted truck tire.

Can I feel it? Sort of. Acceleration is slower but it almost feels like it is due to gearing since these tires are 4” taller than stock. The truck has no problem with the added diameter and weight. However, I’m going to rehear it to get it back to “stock.”

My Jeep make only 270 hp. I went from 32s and 4.10s to 5.13s and 37s and it rips.

"Did you put your stock wheels and tires on a scale? 42 pounds sounds really light to me for a mounted truck tire."

I rotated the 20 inch OEM tires in the driveway after doing the first oil change and swear they must weigh at least twice that amount. Of course being 73 might have something to do with that.

That’s what I’m thinking.

It lookes stuffed. You need a lift.
2” coil lift in front and rear blocks removed. No rubbing. I’m very happy with the stance. Any higher and I’d either have CV wear or need to cut frame brackets and that’s a hard no for me.

That's tire + wheel. So for tire figure 42lb for a stock hankook - they are light. Published weight of a Hankook.

+38 pounds for a 20" OEM Alloy wheel. (I weighed oem wheel only on bathroom scale)
- about 80 pounds total to rotate a factory 20" tire and wheel (mounted)

Thats cool your F150 must be amazing offload now, does it keep up with the jeep?
I'd think a 3.73 would help a lot, do you have the 9.75" rear locking diff? Check out the diff cover in my signature.

You can change the gear ratio with a tune or Forscan, and tire size - (revs per mile) so your speedo is correct.

OK, now I am with you. My combo is not 54 pounds heavier per wheel/tire but only about 18 pounds heavier per wheel/tire - still a lot.
