I would have bet money on them dropping the manual option. Too bad that right now, it’s not available in the configuration that people have been asking for; the 4 cylinder regular cab (which also isn’t available here) that is going for silly money used.
It’s also a slim hope that at least the new 4X4 Ranger might get the 7 speed from the Bronco.
It would also be nice if they followed the new Prius’ lead and made the new Tacoma less of a dog. I hate getting stuck behind them at traffic lights. A city bus accelerates faster than a Tacoma!
