Tailgate release not working

Anyone having issues with the tailgate release on their 21 f150? The key works, dash works but the release doesn't work on the tailgate. Yes I unlocked the doors but still no go. Any solutions out there?

Happened to me this morning, tailgate button on the tailgate didn't work but the fob did work. Tried again like 5-10 min later and no issues.

I’m having the issue with the dash button. Just stopped working last week. Fob works. Handle works. Anyone else?

UPDATE: had to have a complete wiring harness replacement. Was still under warranty

My power tailgate is possessed. Sometimes it'll lower itself and some times it wont. Same with closing.
