Tailgate Opened 3 Times

Was trying to leave the gas station this morning. I put it in reverse and the tailgate opened. Got out, closed it, got in and tried leaving. It opened when I put it in reverse again. It did this one more time. I put it in manual mode and closed it. It stayed closed.

Anyone else running into this? Just got 4.3.2 last night.

Funny you mention that...I recently had a notification that my truck was scheduled to update overnight a couple weeks ago (can't remember which version). I also recently noticed when I got out of my truck that the tailgate was unlatched. My topper was holding it up so I didn't notice until I went in the back for something. After noticing that it was unlatched I've paid more attention to it and I have had it happen 2 more times since then. I get out of the truck after I back into the garage and check, sure enough it is unlatched. Not sure if it happened when reverse is selected or not as the topper holds it up either way.

Not sure if it's me, hitting the release on the remote while it's in my pocket or if it is something the truck is doing by itself. It wasn't/isn't consistent enough for me to tell if taking the keys out of my pocket while driving has had any impact on it yet.

I had true unintended opening and got the tsb. The tsb itself corrupted some software that made my headlights come on by themselves. Truck was down for 15 days til the dealer figured it out. Totally conceivable IMHO that an update could make the tailgate lose its mind.

If I haven't gotten this one yet what with all I went through to make the tailgate tsb work I'm going to see if I can decline it. I don't want to return to square 1.

Yeah I am at 4.2.3 and just turned auto updates off for now.

If something is coming that may be wonky I don't want it. I'd be s%#t flinging mad if something makes My tailgate start dropping again after what it took to get it fixed.
