Tailgate Ajar sensor false readings

Anyone had issues with or know how to adjust the tailgate ajar sensor? My '23 Platinum will pop up the tailgate ajar warning box and / or tailgate ajar icon on the dash routinely. It is most consistent at doing it when going over small bumps with a slight body roll such as turning into a driveway but will also do it going over a speed bump at low speed or even just the undulation of a gravel road at 10 - 15 mph. Obviously tailgate is never actually ajar and light will go away in a couple seconds but rather annoying none the less.

2022 Lariat and having the same issue, now getting worse. Typically, only happens once per ignition cycle. Tried removing BedRug and rolling back Retrax tonneau but to no effect.

Due for an oil change soon and will have them check if not resolved by then.
