Sync 4 update stuck on vehicle restart required.

I'm updating my APIM using FDRS. The update was going well until it says, "to compete the update, vehicle restart required." FDRS says wait 10 minutes and turn vehicle on. I've done this a few times and it just pops up the same message and doesn't complete it. Anyone else have this issue before?

Reset the gateway in forscan

What youll need to do is start a session in forscan. When it says restart required.. turn truck off and do the reset after about 5 min..

You wont get a successful install message but insert the USB in the computer. If you have a .JSON file with you vin your good to go.

Someone else had the same problem about a week ago. Are you restarting the truck or just turning on the iginition? You will continue to get that error unless you restart the truck, including the engine. Instructions say Key On Engine Running (KOER).

I was able to get the update to complete. Took me a while to respond but I just restarted the entire update and it went through. Thank you for the information!
