Sync 24127 - FDRS

Hello,

I had a ton of updates that I performed on FDRS. I'm currently doing last update APIM for sync 24127 before making changes in FORScan for BC 1.4. It's been updating on the screen for almost 2 hours. Just making sure this is normal....

No. If you havent gotten the restart required.. Press hide and then try to do the 10 min restart.

Yes..

Upon restart go and check your version. See if its at the new one or not.. If not then try the update again.

SHould only take 10 min or so

Is it ok if I just do my FORScan changes for BC 1.4 and not worry about the sync update?

What could cause the sync update to not progress?

thanks for your help!! I will send you my vin just to make sure I've done everything correctly - I have updated the ACM And PSCM but they aren't clearing. I now see 1 fault detected in PSCM in FDRS.

The PSCM isnt a issue.. DTCs arent abnormal. Dont worry about the ACM

Not sure why youre having issues with the APIM update.. may need to remake it.

Nope trying a new jump drive now...same thing

That is definitely a weird one. I used a ssd external drive when I did mine, took forever to pickup that the drive had an update, but it went through in less than 20 minutes if I remember correctly. The ipma update is what gave me a fit.

I typed too soon it's going through now I believe. It asked me to restart and wait 10 minutes. This is a first and the screen did something different. I'll keep you posted. I went to staples and purchased a 3.2 usb drive.

If it told you to wait 10 minutes you are good!

Correct. if you get the turn off and wait 10 min it is updated
