Yup, console with a column shift is pretty rare. I have the column shift with a "bench" seat and work surface, in a Lariat. This would be a neat upgrade, to me.

Years ago I replaced the all rubber/vinyl interior of my 98 Cheyenne k1500
with a Silverado buckets and console..
I doubt I will ever have a bench seat truck ever again.
Console was a $300 option in my 21, and well worth it.
storage galore and along with all the other cubby holes in the truck, it is amazing how much more “tidy” the new one stays.
Seems to be a spot for everything.
I do wish there was a recess in the console lid, as I am prone to set stuff there.
(the Chevy has a recess in the console lid where I keep my phone)
Pretty regular, left hand turns will jettison my phone into the passenger door pockets.

is that truck equipped with the "police responder" package? https://www.ford.com/police-vehicles/f150-police-truck/ because thats the only trucks that i have seen with that interior. when ordering my truck the salesman asked if i wanted this as he knew i liked to go fast but its not available in rcsb or rapid red... i guess in canada civilians can order these but obviously without the decals or lights

My 22 STX has the same interior as that with console and column shift and work station arm rest.

I do admire that fold down work console with the column shifter... there have been times I would have liked to fold it out even though I'm driving. Would be good for the Mrs. also. That is a nice truck!!

It yells at you. But there's ways around that. It IS nice to push the work surface closer to the wheel for a better arm rest.

How did you work around it? Mine gives me a message every time I come to a stop and start moving again to store the work station. Since I have a column shifter as well I like having it extended
