I bought the 6112 an 5160 kit and still looking at UCA and u decided which to buy. But mainly looking to see if I can run my stock 18 inch rims. I’m looking to only go 11.50 wide. I’m seeing mixed reviews and have been reading a lot. Looking for first hand experience and all the help I can get. Thanks in advance. It’s a 2023 rattler if it matters to anyone.

I just purchased the 6112's pre assembled set 2.5" lift with SPC upper control arms. I plan on using this set up at first with my stock wheels. My shop strongly suggested these upper control arms with the larger 6112's and 2.5" lift. I will eventually go to a 285/60/20 with 12-18 mm offset wheels. Width of my tires will be approximately 11.5" and 33.5 tall. Called SPC and verified this would work. A lot of misinformation about this. I called the manufacturers to get the correct info.

If you read the instructions of the Ford performance kit (The shocks Ford uses are the 6112's) they recommend upper control arms. Bilstein customer service made the recommendation as well for 2.5". Honestly I wanted aftermarket upper control arms. Have to remove the coilovers to remove the bolts anyways.

I wanted the Ford Performance kit, but the rear shocks only allow for 1" of lift. I am at 1.75 with aftermarket 3rd leafs. The Bilstein's 5180 alow up to 2" . This is actually an issue with a lot of the "level kits" Fox told me the same thing as well. Really complicated things.

I am running the Ford Performance kit (Bilstein 6112/5160) set to 2.5" w/ ICON Tubular Upper Control Arm/Delta Joint Pro Kit on 18"OEM rims w/ Nitto Grapplers LT295/70/R18. There are no rubbing issues at all. I also have the RAS suspension HD kit installed over the rear leafs. The Ford dealership installed all the suspension hardware and deemed it all okay. I have had no issues since it was installed.

Thanks for the replies. I’m looking at a very similar tire size as well. Looking at the BDS UCA for the simple and easy to MOOG ball joint.

If you are just changing the coil-overs you won't have any issues. If you change the upper control arms, look at the specs or call the company that makes them to ask what wheel offset/backspacing is required. My Camburg UCA's require a maximum backspacing of 5.75".
