Steelies... Upgrade

Hi there, looking to "upgrade" to some steelies. So I can then run some 255/80R17s. 285/ 75R17s. Possibly a 35/ 11.50R17. I'm looking for more sidewall and a minimalist, low- key truck look. I'll likely have them powdercoated black right away. Plus the 17- inch tires opens up more affordable larger tire size options than my 20's. I am looking at a new take- off set but they are from a two- wheel drive. There's no difference in these in order for them to fit on a four- wheel drive are there? Appears to me they should all be 17×7.5. Can anyone confirm they will clear rotors, hub centers are correct size, etc..?? Going to share an example photo of what I am going for, amd wheels in question thanks to someone on this forum. Thank you. Mike

Bump, any help on this would be appreciated. Just wild ass guesses are fine too. Going to pick them up tomorrow regardless lol.

I have 17" steelies on my truck stock. I do not have Max Tow though. For that package you need 18" rims to clear the larger brakes.

Thank you for the input, no Max Tow for me either. Just hoping the 17" two- wheel drive steelies are same as your 17" four- wheel drive steelies. They very likely are. Appreciate it!!

Well men, for those of us with giant 3rd members. Let it be known the factory 17" steelies with 245/ 70R17s will definitely clear, crash bars, fender well liners, etc.. all in the clear with just a 2" spacer lift. Welcome my 2022 F100.

Well, I did roast them once in the dark on the way to the tire shop. But I wanted to see if they'd give me a credit on them. And they did!! Knocked another $250 off my new tires this morning.

ThankfulIy I am ready for trout season. My truck now looks like a fish cops. So anytime I'm parked near trout waters everyone will steer clear. May your creels overflow with Brookies like mine. Looking forward to solitude in the mountains.

Thanks! They've kind of grown on me and look pretty decent with the Iconic Silver. Maybe I will next tire change. Or I may even try to Plasti Dip them, so at least it's reversible.

User lynskynbnd made his center caps black while leaving the rest of the wheel untouched. I think it looks kind of cool.
