Specific delivery date

This morning I was given (by Ford Marketing) a very specific date and time even, for my truck to be delivered to @Granger Ford. I was told Oct 2 at 12:40pm. All I'd been given previously was a 1 week window. Has anyone else on here gotten a specific date and time like that, and if so, was it actually accurate? Is this just a guess or could it be that it is on some schedule for that exact date and time?

Your truck blended a little more than a week ahead of mine. I'm speculating that your truck has finally been listed on the trucking shipping schedule. It will be loaded that morning then run 200 miles up to Granger. We are still two weeks out so anything can happen to disrupt that schedule. Plus, I do not know how much time Granger needs to prepare the truck for delivery.

LOL, good point. Nothing from Ford has been accurate. If it's true that it's been scheduled by the trucking company, then I would think it would be accurate.

I see you ordered April 2. I ordered Oct 9 last year. The way this has gone for me, you'll probably get yours before I do.

9/25/23 here. Was told 9/20-9/26 delivery but something tells me that’s not gonna happen.

My original delivery window was 9/13-9/19. It got bumped to 9/29-10/5 a few days ago. It’s been sitting in KC since 9/5. Ridiculous .
Call Ford marketing and ask if yours has a specific scheduled date.

I placed my order on 10/13/23 and I received an email on 8/19/24 with a build week of 8/26/24 and his been "In Production" since 8/29/24. I had/have been given a delivery date of 9/26/24 but I'm not holding my breath.

Has your truck been built yet? I wouldn’t trust the tracking site. If you haven’t already, I would call Ford marketing.

I don't believe it has been built. I spoke with Ford Chat last week and they stated the 9/26 delivery date.

That’s a long time in production. Hopefully it gets built soon!

So I answered my own question. Apparently the specific day and time for delivery that I was given was not accurate. My truck was delivered today! It’s been an EXTREMELY long wait, but I should get able to pick it up next week

Mine was delivered today after the folks at the Ford Marketing 800 number last night said first week in October. They were pleasant but really had no more information than the tracker. Hopefully, I can pick it up next week. But I have already started executing plan B to make my hunting trip in 2 weeks.
