I just grabbed both of these for the old price of the SPD Alpha Catted Y-Pipe by itself! $2,128 for both! ? I wanted to wait and get these later BUT at these prices with my first responders discount, free shipping AND an extra $30 off with my emailed coupon. I went ahead and pulled the trigger. That's a seriously good deal, almost to the point where I wonder what's the catch?

I see SPD is still listing them at $2195. Do they go on sale often (especially at this discount)? Trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger even though I won't be ready to install it for a while.

Well apparently what I’m seeing on Facebook is that SPD won’t honor the order due to them stating that it’s the wrong price but my question is… Why wouldn’t they honor it? Because from what I see, AT is an authorized dealer and that’ll be false advertisement. So I didn’t plan on ordering these this soon either, but at this price I just took a chance and placed my order to see if it’ll get filled. Worst could happen is that AT refunds me my money for the order. ??‍

Nope. It just sat there “Pending” with no word whatsoever from American Trucks on anything until I called them 3 business days later to just go ahead and cancel it. I got in contact with the owner of BeefcakeRacing.com and he gave me a great deal on some Stainless Works Long Tube Headers PLUS a set of D’ Fowlers all for the same price as both the SPD Alpha Cats AND SPD Ported Manifold. American Trucks has already fully refunded me for this “so called” purchase.

Ok thanks for the response. Going to let mine sit a few more days. I would go that route, but I actually got the 3.5eco so just wanting downpipes as I don't want it loud lol. Doesn't sound as good as that V8 haha.

Yes had I stayed patient like you and some of others, I’d be receiving mines as well but I ultimately decided to go with Stainless Works Long Tube Headers with some D’Fowlers. Palm Beach Dyno will be installing them for me soon. I already got a quote from them and ready to go!

Yes I got mine also. Installed the y pipe already huge difference. In sound and feel.
I have not installed the manifolds yet. I need to rework them just a bit. They are not bad. Just see a little room for improvement!

Did you tune it after the y pipe install? If not, I’m curious to see how it’ll run once you tune it after you install the manifolds. ???

Finally added the y-pipe. Still needing to do the manifolds. There is never enough time with my job ? got busy doing other things when I was home.
Next time home, I have to do the injectors, JD fuel pump install, and tune. kicker key and speakers install from hush car audio. And do the carpet kit with sound proofing.
