Sold my Ranger on Facebook yesterday
I priced it just a bit high of center of the selling range.
Guy spent an hour crawling under, checking wiring, tires and making sure everything worked. Took it on a long test flight as well.
I bought it new, and it has not been babied, but never abused either.
He must have been pleased as he did not even ask for a lower price.
This is the first car I have sold that was not literally 200 miles from a scrapyard trip.
130k trouble free miles, and it probably has 200+ left in it.

I’m in Texas, this is an extremely low mile vehicle.

so long, lil truck. You’ve been real good to me despite your lack of power and rough ride.

also sold that junk mercury in the back—that thing sold and was gone in hour!

I had a 93 ranger 4.0 5 so for 26 years before , my bother has it now and it still runs great. Best dependable vehicle I ever owned.

I really wanted one of the original Ford Rangers back in high school. I even knew then they were great little trucks. For me, it would’ve had to have the EDGE package, SuperCab with the step side, in Sonic Blue. I would have taken it down to the Circuit City and upgraded the stereo!

Alas, I never got one. Maybe, just maybe it’s all about to come full circle for me with my F-150 order. Sport package, SuperCrew, in Velocity Blue with my Bang & Olufsen Unleashed!!!!

I was really interested in an S10, but by the time I got around to buying, s10 had been replaced with that pre-beat up Colorado/Canyon ( that truck has not gotten anymore appealing either)
The Ranger was still a smooth, uncluttered truck, and the XLT did not come with any extra body cladding, so no places for crap to settle in.
I wrecked this before I had 600 miles on it ( just a fender bender, nothing structural) and changed the front bumper to a 4x4 XLT and the lower valance to an Edge.
Never did hook up those fog lights.
Gave the truck a little facelift and stayed all Ford
The XLT chrome gives it just a bit of elegance so it doesn’t look like an errand runner.
