Ok, I have been using Sirius radio through my phone since new (last spring) and decided to transfer my Sirius XM subscription from my portable device to the truck as in my area we loose cellular service lots so I end up losing the Sirius radio from my phone. I hope this isnt a dumb question but how the heck do you save the Sirius radio channels to the favorites list? 🤪. I select a channel and hit every button but still cant save it, lol! I even went on you tube and couldn't find anything there about how to do this!
Question #2 , I want to change the channels by using the arrow buttons on the right side of the steering but when I push those buttons it not only does not switch the Sirius radio channel, it takes me out of Sirius XM and puts the radio on F.M or A.M channels instead!
On a brighter note, I am absolutely loving this truck, waaaay nicer then my old Dodge!! 😁 Thanks for any help on this hopefully simple matter

Tune to the channel you want to save, then press and hold the button on the favorites list until you hear a beep.

The buttons on the steering wheel will cycle through whatever you have saved. You can mix FM/AM/XM favorites on the same list. Somewhere in the settings, you can set how many pages of favorites you want.

I found saving to favorites or "presets" puzzling as well. However once you follow the procedure Confused outlined you will think to yourself "Was it really that easy all along?" I find if I haven't saved a favorite in awhile, I still have to scratch my head whenever I want to save a "favorite."

Apparently there are two ways to save favorites. Sirius XM favorite as in the manual below or the method Confused used. Now I am confused.

One of the delights of SiriusXM is that it behaves differently when you are using the SiriusXM that is built into your truck vs using the SiriusXM app on your phone vs accessing Sirius via the web front end using your laptop.
The “favorites” list in your truck is NOT the same as your SiriusXM favorites. In fact, as far as I know you cannot access your SiriusXM favorites list using Ford’s built in SiriusXM app at all. While using the built-in app, you are strictly limited to SiriusXM’s published list numbered channels. However you can assign any of the SiriusXM channels to the “favorites” buttons in your truck.
To make it more confusing, you can assign any combination of SiriusXM channels, FM radio stations or AM radio stations to the favorite buttons. In effect, any particular SiriusXM channel is just another radio station that happens to come in via satellite instead of over the airwaves.

You can add “pages” of favorite buttons (each page has I think six favorites?) … from memory you can have up to 6 pages of favorite buttons (swipe right or left to get to a new page). So if my memory hasn’t failed me you can have up to 36 favorite buttons defined.
Personally, I find all this SiriusXM weirdness very offputting - especially the fact that it behaves completely differently depending on how you are accessing it.

The SiriusXM app in Android Auto is a travesty and needs to be wiped from the Earth.

It took me a long time to untangle the way SiriusXM works (or doesn't) so you're not alone.

Ok I think I got it!!! I pressed on the channel image and a star above it pops up ( must be the favorites button everyone was mentioning lol!) One other thing I would like to mention, when I was playing with the arrows on the right of the steering ( I mentioned before it would change from Sirius radio to F.M/A.M channels instead) I noticed if you press and hold for about 2 seconds it stays on Sirius radio and changes those channels, hahaha!
Anyway, a big thank you to everyone who chimed in and helped me out, much appreciated!!! :)

No. When I said favorites, I meant the buttons circled in this picture. Tune to the station you want to save, then press and hold one of these buttons until you hear a beep. You can save FM right next to XM stations just like in the picture. The buttons on the steering wheel cycle through the circled buttons.

I don't know what the blue star means when you press the logo of the station.
