Short antenna recommendation

FWIW I just received the builtright and after a day it is already going back. I can only get super-local stations with it

Rural?
I'm in suburbia/city and never had an issue.

Mind you, does anyone do FM radio anymore?

Btw, I need to buy another antenna. Have the 7” Rydonair and the fake carbon fiber base is peeling off. It’s a sleeve over the antenna but it looks stupid anyway.

I never listen to AM/FM but never knew of or considered an 'Untenna' until seeing your post.

Found a SS 1/4-20x3/4 button-head bolt in the shop, shot it with a bit of BBQ satin also on hand, works for me, the flippy-whip is gone!
