Two weeks of driving my new powerboost and scratches showed up on the passenger side windshield from the wiper. I never found any grit, dirt or sharp edges to cause it and now I have no clue on how to fix it.

Errrrr my passenger side rear window is all scratched up and you can feel it. I have no idea from what as it was it doesn't sit outside very often and I park away from anyone. So frustrating I'm sure it needs replacement and now my door has to be opened up

It’s really not that bad, I was just as concerned as you are before I had it done. I actually was able to see it done and it wasn’t really all that bad and took the guy about 25 minutes to do. The only problem I had was ford was gonna take about 3 weeks to get the glass and I was able to get it the next day from a private glass company and it was oem glass.

Glad you had a good experience! I called the dealer today and they want to take pictures and send them to Ford. Not holding my breath but glad they want to try to get this under warranty.

You can add me to the list. Took delivery of a Lightning last night in the dark… first mistake. Now in the sunlight today I could probably find a scratch on every window but the driver side rear is by far the worst!

That’s the same thing that happened to me, the idiots they hire for $15 an hour to wash and prep just don’t care, my dealership tried telling me that they are only allowed to use plastic scrapers on the windows for sticker removal and I pretty much laughed in his face. Lucky for me it was only one window, I didn’t really want to get it fixed in fear of them screwing something else up but it was just to noticeable and my ocd wasn’t gonna let me overlook it.You can add me to the list. In a way, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one seeing this issue. Actually had it happen on the rear drivers side window on a 2015 Platinum. The dealer caught it as we were doing a walk around before I took delivery, they ordered a replacement, and I went back to have it replaced. Purchased a 2024 from a different dealer, did not take the time to do a good inspection at the dealer as Hurricane Helene was rolling in. A week or so later I noticed it when I was washing the truck, called and mentioned it to the sales person I had worked with, and was basically told they would have caught it if it was delivered to them that way, and to take it to another dealer to see if they would warranty it. It's not that bad, and I'm not going to worry about it, but it's a shame that so many dealers seem to be doing this and are either not aware of it, or don't care.

I took delivery and noticed similar scratches on my rear driver side window 3 days later. After 3 months of working with the dealer and Ford customer service, it has went nowhere. Ford has denied any liability. Ford actually stopped any and all communication with myself and the dealer. The dealer is stating it is a Ford problem. Very disappointed in the way Ford treats very good repeat customers. I have owned numerous Ford vehicles without any issue. Very frustrated that such a small thing would make me want to not do business with Ford in the future.

OMG,,, I picked up my 24, 5.0 carbon grey Lariat in Nov 11/ 24. Got home and seen the exact same thing! Looks like someone took a key and scratched the sh out of left rear door window. And many other problems! O backed in my driveway and noticed the engine light was on and the trans was making a horrible loud whining noise and the grill shutters kept opening and closing and ......... So my new truck has been to ford repair shop 3 times for days. Its sickening . $90k and is more trouble than my 15 yr old f150. I put a short vidio of trans noise on youtube.

Have a listen and tell me jow to fix it maybe.

25’ Raptor. Same exact drivers rear window scratches as everyone else. Missed during delivery. Seems to be very common. 4-5 other guys with February 2025 built trucks have noticed this too.
about 20 five min sessions with this on a DA polisher took them out. Took LOTS of work. But now that window looks better than the rest.

Found this thread after picking up my 2025 XLT BAP 4x4 today… noticed the scratches on the driver side second row window right before getting in the truck to drive home. The dealer rep took pictures of it and they are supposed to call me tomorrow to work it out and make it right….
