Running boards don't open / work

My running boards are set to open up as i approach . They do not open until i touch the door handle . The day i picked up my truck it worked on approach when salesman set it up . The setting is on approach set to on but they dont work . I think its part of sync4 problem ...anyone else have this issue ?

Where is your other key fob? If it is in the vehicle, or too close to it, that will cause this problem.
