Rough idle with a/c on 2.7l

My 2024 2.7l has a bit of a rougher idle when it’s hot and the a/c is on. It’s like a “stumble” every 5 seconds or so. Doesn’t do it in the winter if the a/c is turned on.

I saw some videos that say it’s normal for the smaller engine on the f150, I assume the smaller engine with the load from the ac causes it.

Just wanted to see if others also have this trait, because I know the dealership will say it’s normal. Not really a huge deal, it’s just slightly annoying especially in traffic on a hot day.

My 21 does the exact same thing. No issues at 30,000 miles.

Yeah I’d say mine slightly does that too. It’s not about to stall or anything but I can feel it slightly.

Yeah, same. Not at all that it’s going to stall, I don’t think the rpm’s even fluctuate when it does it.

Yup my old 2.7 felt like it was misfiring sometimes so annoying....powerboost does it too when its cold

My 2021 2.7 lariat was vry smooth even with the AC on. Most times you couldnt tell the engine was even on at Idle. I do run Techron 2x a year and i did use Tufoil engine treatment on that engine which slighly improved the milage and definately smoothed out the engine at idle in my opionion.
