Ridiculous amount of loctite

Thanks to the technician who decided to marinate the T50 size tailgate hinge bolts in RED loctite, Really? What life ending event could cause them to want to put so much red loctite on those bolts? I almost stripped the bolts until I realized I had to torch them. When I took the bolts out I found that the bolts were ENTIRELY coated in red loctite, is this some kind of Joke from the factory? I should of taken pictures, but trust me when I say they were soaked.

Same experience here, I couldn't believe how hard they were to remove. One bolt came out ~OK with the big breaker bar, the other bolt cost me a couple hours of my life. I didn't realize it's actually a Torx plus so I mangled it pretty badly with the standard Torx bit when I hit it with the big impact driver ?

Interesting, yea I almost stripped mine too, never knew that there was a Torx plus! purchased a set today from Amazon. Thanks!
