Yep, but I figured it out after a bit. Press lock, then unlock, then lock again, and THEN double hit the remote start. Works great. And, I should have remembered this from my previous F150. ?Do you have the remote start button on your fob?

The ford perimeter alarm that you add on uses the lock-unlock-lock to activate the start with the standard key fobs.Yeah, using unlock in the start sequence doesn’t sound right. Never seen that before except with aftermarket units. And if you’re using the stock remote start remote, it can’t be aftermarket.
Is this a truck that came with remote start? If you’re not original owner, any possibility an aftermarket alarm/remote start was added by a prior owner?
Well that's certainly new news to me, Never heard of that dealer add-on.The ford perimeter alarm that you add on uses the lock-unlock-lock to activate the start with the standard key fobs.

Interesting, Not on the App Store listing that‘s for iOS. Strange for an Android release before IOS .5.14 is out and I just got 5.13 last Monday...I see Ford is quick in getting updates out...lol
