Remote Features Disabled to preserve Battery

I have a 22 XLT 302a.
I repeatedly receive the error “Remote Features Disabled to preserve battery” through Ford Pass.

I think I notice a trend that if I go near my truck with the fob, however don’t actually open the truck the error will populate within an hour and a half.

I have an appointment on Wednesday with my dealer to try and resolve, curious if anyone else has had this issue and was able to resolve it.

So just got my truck back from the dealer and I was told that I need a new Gateway module for my truck. They ordered one for me no ETA at this time. Hopefully that will resolve the issue.

Also had them look into my Reverse Brake Assist as that was sporadically not working. They said that my rear camera had to be replaced. So that is also on Order.

Tomorrow is 4 weeks from when I took delivery.

Any update on your issue? I just received a message from FordPass indicating that my truck was entering deep sleep to preserve battery. Day 22 of ownership for me; hoping I don't have to take a trip to the dealership.

I have same issues on my 2021 F250 diesel. Started about 2 months ago, had truck 6 months. Sometimes 10 minutes after i shut off, sometimes 3 days. Ford checked battery all good. Fordpass couldnt help so id like to know as well if the gateway module worked. Thanks

Just got the gateway module fixed yesterday. It seems to of solved the issue! Haven’t had the error pop up in my ford pass yet! I’ll see if I can find the tech notes and attach them.

I picked up my 2022 F-250 King Ranch on Tuesday afternoon and have been getting this notification on my app regularly, 22+ times today. Can't start or unlock truck with app, kind of useless. Dealer told me nothing is wrong, and it should go away, but if not, come in and have the battery tested.

Ford app worked perfectly fine for 2.5 years with my 2022 F-150 Platinum... I've reinstalled, re-logged in etc. Very frustrating.
