Recommendations for a Bad Auxiliary Battery

That's the specs of the batt -- it's not a fail for that batt. That's not a starting batt and it's fused for 125a.
I'm new to the PB and trying trying to find out for a bit. What is the upside to going with a larger AH battery? I can see the benefit of LFE, but what does it actually give you?

Is there an upgrade that helps with electric range?

This upgrade is completely separate from the high voltage hybrid battery, but there can be an increase in electric driving range if your 12v system isn't up to snuff.

The advantage is being able to run a higher resting voltage with more amp hours (battery capacity). This all but eliminates the errant warnings on the dash, and makes the powerboost a more reliable pickup.

Very little modification needed the way I did mine. The link to the thread with more info was in post #2. You can check there several options on how to get it done.

I’m playing catch up your prior posts for your setup. Looking to replace my aux battery. It sounds like you kept the original aux battery and added the X2 LiFePO4 along side it in the rear seat area. Did I read that correctly in prior posts? If so, is that a necessity to have both? Could you simply remove the original aux battery and swap it on it with the X2 alone?

You could if you wanted to cut up the factory battery box.

My OEM auxiliary battery tested ok, so I just kept it in the loop for a total of 27 amp hours.
It works so well that my starting battery has already hit 1650 days and I still have a resting voltage of 13.2. I’ll probably go ahead and swap it out before it gets really cold, but part of me wants to see if I could make the motorcraft battery last through my extended warranty.

Nope, no BMS to reset on that one.

Just enjoy no warnings on your dash for a couple months if you replaced it with another OEM battery.
