Good Morning,
I received a call from my dealer this morning with a VIN and build date of 6/24. Which will likely get pushed. I use the forum tracker and the window sticker is already populating. Now to me this feels like Christmas morning lol but do you typically have a widow sticker the same day as the VIN? Assuming the dealer hasn’t been sitting on the VIN a couple days.

Can't answer your question, but I am curious how long from your order date until you received your VIN?

It was 34 days from the day the order was placed. I hear some get it in two weeks and some much longer. I’m really starting to think it depends on the size of the dealer and how many allocations they get per week.

From my experience...and from reading other threads on the forums....the window sticker usually shows up about a week before your build date. That was my experience.
I received my VIN about 10 days after I ordered.

Thanks for the info. Dealer says my build date is 6/24 which I though was odd because the sticker is already available. We shall see I guess.

What’s the date on the bottom of your window sticker and what’s your blend date?
Anything’s possible depending on what build date you were assigned, plant shut downs, delay etc. Multitude of possibilities.

Have you ran your VIN and order code thru any of the tracker sites? It will show you the day your truck was ordered and the projected build date. If you don't know your order code (which your salesman should give you) you can find it on your window sticker. It's in the "Item #" at the bottom of the screen in the left hand section. The order code will be something like this : 53-XXXX Q/T 1 ...where the XXXX is your order code. I've read where the tracking sites can be hit and miss at times...but mine has been pretty accurate so far.

Gratz! on the VIN.

I was thinking delivery would feel like Christmas but in this scenario, Christmas is a moving target and no-one knows the rules for picking the date. It's coming, but Santa (Ford) has lost control of the sleigh it appears.

Yes sir. 5/26 with a 6/21 blend date.
That does seem early but with DTP being idled you were probably “sent to plant” and in queue for production as that happened. That’s what happened to me.
My build week of April 19 was assigned March 20. Build date of April 22 assigned on April 1 (VIN already generated on March 20).

April 15 sticker generated and sent to plant (original build date of April 22) but my new build/blend date bumped to May 7 at that same time. With Kansas staying shut down… I’ll be lucky to be built by mid June but I am sent to plant/“in production” for whenever they resume and my blend date is still May 7 and my sticker date is still April 15.

"

"Christmas" sounds about right for a delivery date of a VIN you got today.
(Just kidding)
...maybe
Haha it’s a sad day when I get excited over a VIN #.. once I get the truck I’m not sure what I’ll have to look forward to. I can only watch the same YouTube videos over and over to a certain extent without going crazy. I’ve also read the online owners manual twice ?
