Took my MY22 Lariat in for recall service, it’s first appearance in a shop at 10,800 miles, and when I got it back, my personality settings ( e.g. gauge placement, ) were reset to delivery.

Now the question I have is this. If the dealer‘s recall fix for the flickering lights included an FDRS change from the delivery build sheet, does my build sheet change at Ford?

I guess I could compare a current dump against what Ford has record of but that seems like a lot of work. What I don’t want to do is to start mucking around in there to make changes I see on these boards, like turning XM back on and putting temp values on my dash panel, and to mess things up and have to go back to factory build, messing up whatever change the recall made to fix the flickering park indicator.

Thoughts beyond my run on sentence?

The way I understand it is that after any FDRS module update, if the AsBuilt values were altered by the update, the truck and the cloud record of AsBuilt are not "in Sync".
Yet.

At some point in the near future (days/weeks), the truck will sync with the cloud and the cloud version of the AsBuilt values will be overwritten to match the truck.

So yea, there's a period of time after using FDRS that the truck and cloud have potential conflicting values.
