I was rear-ended in my 21 F150 last week and the damage is extremely minor, so I am looking to just replace the bumper with the insurance check and move on.
I found a bumper in the same color as my car, but it lists that it is not compatible with the auto-park feature. My truck does have automatic parking and while I don't use it, I don't want to lose any features my truck had from the factory.
Visually, I don't see any differences looking at the pictures of the bumper. The parking sensors appear to be in the same location. The only part I really need to replace is the painted plastic piece on the passenger side. So if the difference between the auto park bumper and standard bumper is not on the painted piece then it seems I can just swap the painted portion?
If the part I'm looking at now doesn't work out, is there anyone reputable who has used parts for these trucks? I need the piece in smoked quartz metallic, which doesn't seem to be a common color...
