Well I was wanting to eliminate that first! This just started happening to me too! Also a 2022. For the mechanically challenged, Snakebitten, are you suspecting the much talked about sheered axle bolt issue?
Sounds good. Let us know. Thanks!Well I was wanting to eliminate that first!
For those of us plagued by the axle issue - what's the best way to do this? Is there a specific (plastic) tool, or YT video you'd suggest? It seems like keeping the caps off and routinely confirming the bolts are still there is probably the best way to know if the problem has repeated after replacement.I'd immediately pop the center cap, or remove the wheel, and confirm the axle bolt is intact.
Mine happens more when I start breaking . This morning was very quiet. Only drove 2 miles so I'm guessing it gets louder as I drive more. I'm dropping it off tomorrow to check on it. I will keep u guys up to date. While driving around this week with my windows rolled down I made the realization that the squeak occurs when the internal combustion engine (ICE) turns off. And it is precisely when the ICE turns off. I can't tell if the squeak also occurs when the ICE turns on. For reasons relating to wind noise, etc. it's just been harder to tell. Flight47, any chance this aligns with what you're observing too?
Yes they found some broken piece back there . The part took a week to arrive. Drive carefully and take it to them asap.I have a 2022 powerboost and am experiencing this issue as well. It’s a sustained squealing screeching coming from the rear axel area whenever I depress the accelerator or depress the brakes. The noise is only while in motion and only when depressing either pedal. Has anyone found the cape of this yet? Is it ok to drive?
