Get a lugging rattle at 1500rpm or so in high gears and some throttle. Very metallic sounding. Been spending time seeing if anything could be loose under truck or if it is engine compartment or wastegates.
Found a couple things under truck that do make some noise when I hit the exhaust system or tap around the trans.
Flex Pipe… I sorta doubt this is loud enough to be my culprit. But can I quiet it down with a stainless clamp around it? What about loosening and retightening the exhaust system?
Trans, driver side, there is a plastic cover plate over a big block that looks to me like some kind of heat sink. But also rattles and I have no idea what is safe to try to snug this one up.
Also took my engine cover off and discovered a plastic cap of some sort just sitting on top of the engine. Googled and says it is likely a plug cap? Did it just get left on the engine during assembly? Couldn’t see anything that looked like it was missing a cover.
