It appears the only difference between a Raptor and a BlueCruise equipped truck is legitimate handsfree driving. You could drive handsfree with the weighted steering wheel hack.

Question, you have the nanny cam in the upper left of the center stack? If so, I am surprised by this. I assumed this was only on BlueCruise trucks.

I once tested what I call the Raptor edit in FORScan. I disabled BlueCruise and enabled TJA. This disabled the nanny cam, but I could still drive handsfree with the weighted wheel hack.

I want planning on renewing BlueCruise, but Ford have me an additional year. So I'm November '26 I plan on trying the "Raptor edit" again.
Yes, the camera is there as well as the infared sensors above my sync-4 screen. This camera is used for the optional “driver alert”, and for the security system.

If the windows are down (for example) and the truck is locked - reaching into the truck will set the alarm off FROM that camera. Some raptors have the “interior intrusion alarm removal” option listed on the tag, which is the nanny cam you’re referring to haha.

This is not correct please stop saying the DSM camera in the center stack does this.

Okay, what is correct then?
The Advanced Security Pack is a module located in the overhead console. It uses ultrasonic sensors to detect motion in the cab of the vehicle. No optical detection has ever been used.

Also regarding TJA, it’s not referred to as TJA here because it’s just called Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering. TJA is the internal and antiquated term for it from its launch in my previously referenced material

I’m aware of the intrusion features. I have them on my truck. They do not use the camera I assure you.

I could literally cover the sensor with tape and have it not work… the Raptor doesn’t have side ultrasonic sensors for parking or anything. Lookup other people’s YouTube videos, I could provide this 10 different ways. Perhaps in 2024 when they did a re-design, they changed the systems?

look online for a raptor and find one with “interior intrusion alarm removal” and you’ll see the camera is missing.

They’re interior sensors in the overhead console…

Covering the lenses is an anomaly if it doesn’t work. Super Duty uses the same intrusion system and does not have Blue Cruise as well as many of the higher range SUV’s both Ford and Lincoln. The BCM doesn’t run the DSM (Driver Status Monitor) when the vehicle is off.

My original question about this is quite old. Over time I came to this conclusion, but I had no verification. Ford's TJA video (though it's an old video) showed the driver driving handsfree. Bottom line the Raptor just has ACC & LC no different than some older well equipped - though without BlueCruise - F150s; such as a '21 Lariat.... before Ford starting putting BlueCruise hardware just about all trims.

Yes EU regulators shut down the automation of TJA before release unfortunately. Just trying to keep information available where I can as Ford does so very poorly directly.
