So I have this weird issue going on with the key fob on my truck. It doesn't matter if the truck sits for a few hours or over a weekend, but it will randomly decide that it doesn't want to respond to the fob when I go to unlock it. Both fobs have new batteries(less than a few months old) and the truck battery was replaced a little less than a year ago with an H8(biggest battery that will fit in the tray). I had these issues before I replaced the battery in the truck, but it seems to have been perfectly fine up until about 2 weeks ago. It's done this 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Once I unlock it manually and start the truck, everything seems kosher for a few days. I'm just wondering if the battery could be failing again, or if this is just one of those issue that is considered "normal for this vehicle."
Either way, I'd rather not take it in if I can avoid it. Anybody else have this issue? It's a 2022 STX (no push button start).
