From (the little of) what I understand about getting a tune, I'm intrigued, and may consider one for my 3.5EB once it's out of warranty. I understand the basic premise behind getting a tune, but there's a number of details that I don't understand.
- Can you keep, or "save" the factory stock OEM tune, and return the truck back to stock?
- For that matter, can you switch back and forth between OEM and aftermarket tunes?
- Performance gains are pretty clear. How is mileage affected?
- Livernois offers multiple tunes: can you have more than one installed at the same time?
- What's involved in the installation?

Thans for your patience. I'm a numbskull on this topic.

Yes you can go back to stock tune whenever you want. You can only have one tune at a time. OZ Tuning gives one tune that covers all fuels. I’m pretty sure Livernois also has that option now. They both have videos on how to tune. And now you can go through the OBD port with both companies so tuning is pretty simple.
