Questions for the Dealership on tracking

Hello f150 owners. If anyone has suggests for me I would appreciate it. I am going to stop by the ford dealership tomorrow and see if I can get a VIN on the new f150 I ordered on January 16th. I know that I will need a vin #, however is asking them about the priority code needed and how does that work ? while I am in the dealership should I question them about anything else I might need to track my order. Any help would be great. thanks. I have the lariat model ordered.

The priority code will be shown on the build sheet that the dealer should give you.

I ordered 1/16 and got my VIN last week. I would ask if they have a build date/week as well. Their system sometimes shows more than what we can see on the tools customers can use.

Has anyone had the "Max Recline" option show up on the Ford tracker? Or for that matter any options that are not included as part of a "package"?

I ordered "Max Recline", but the option doesn't show up on the Ford tracker, yet for other VIN's on the tracker it does show add-on options, e.g., "Work Surface".

Good question Bill. My hunch is - they wouldn't show up becasue max recline final design and Ford patent came much later after Ford's debut (just a hunch) & was enough time to put into system (all our inital orders). Odd thing is what does it show up in the Ford ordering system & on your build sheet? Guess a disconnect bewteen some internal systems.

On the official Ford tracker Max Recline does not show up (basically mirrors this forum's tracker).

It is however listed on the build sheet received from the dealer. I'll look for it once my window sticker is available.

I’ve kinda got the same deal, but with the work surface. I added it a few days after my order, my dealer said it accepted and sent me the updated build sheet. But when I track my VIN, no work surface showing up on either Ford’s or this forums tracker. It’s not a deal breaker for me, and not worth delaying with a re-order. But it got me thinking maybe it doesn’t show because it was a late add?

I’m fine with or without. I just thought after the fact for $165, why not? ?‍

If you track my VIN: 1FTFW1E55MFA81292 you can see that Max Recline does not show up on the tracker....but if you look at the Window Sticker, it's there.
