installed on my 2024 xlt step by step by their instructions. no start up sequence, turn signals come on when brake is applied. first one came with an inop diode, installed second one using the warranty and same issues. suspect maybe the controller box just not applicable to 2024s. returning this is also becoming a hassle. bought directly from putco.com.

halogen, no obs, with blis, 3.5 powerboost hybrid

That appears to be the correct part #. Did you install everything correctly? You have to connect both sides of the in-line tail light plugs. You don't use any trailer wiring when you install it this way. Did you ALSO install trailer wiring???

What is the part number for a '22 Platinum with OEM LED lighting and on board scales with smart hitch? My truck has every option that Ford would sell at the time order.

Tech package is an add-on, it's usually part of one of the packages with the truck. Some years call it the tow package. Some call it a tow tech package. Basically if your truck has the 360 cameras and pro trailer backup assist and the trailer brake controller that's the tech package.
