Bummer.just gave that a try; unfortunately it‘s still not working
I think I’ll be taking it to the dealer to have it checked out. But I’m out of town at the moment, so it’ll have to wait a week or two. I‘ll provide an update after I’ve had it looked at.The only other cheap (free) thing you could try is to disconnect the negative terminal from BOTH batteries for a while. Sort of a full "reset" of the ensemble of modules in the truck.
Still, I'd love to see any/all codes harvested first. And then cleared.
Do the battery task and then harvest codes afterwards to compare. (if the issues persisted)
Thanks, I’ll schedule an appointment with my dealer and mention this bulletin@Jerry Can. Since you have a 2021, your generator issues might be related to the software in your BCM and PCM. See TSB 23-2407:
As a follow-up, there were no codes. It was a blown fuse that I had my dash cam backup battery connected to; specifically the passenger compartment fuse 2 (delayed accessory feed). I really wish I had checked the fuse before sending the truck to the dealer. $200 to replace a $2 fuse ?Still, I'd love to see any/all codes harvested first. And then cleared.
