Production Week 8/19/24

Anybody else still in the 'in production' step from build week 8/19?

I am still stuck as well. I ordered a Platinum 702A with almost every option available aside from FX4. Seeing how other trucks that were produced this week were already delivered, I assumed it was the long list of options that need to be installed that was causing the delay.

When it comes in check every inch of it for paint issues and check the inside for issues as well. I keep finding more issues with the paint on mine. There’s also a weird rumble sound when driving at around 50 mph. If I let off of the gas it stops. When it’s under load it comes back.

Congrats! I have a similar build, but no update yet. Fingers still crossed it comes this year and not moved over to 2025!

Hopefully your truck doesn’t arrive in the condition that mine is in. I find more paint issues every time that I look over it. Granger hasn’t helped me one bit. They failed to properly inspect the vehicle when it was delivered to them and before delivering it to me, but they won’t help me out. They want me to go to my local dealer and file a warranty claim for all of the issues.

We finally flew out to Granger yesterday to pick up the King Ranch. We just finished day 2 of the drive back toward New Hampshire, tonight we are in Dearborn. We are taking the Ford Dearborn plant tour tomorrow, so the truck has been like a Blue Cruise homing pigeon getting us here. ? Everything at Granger went well, the deal, the condition of the truck, the folks at Granger (which is why we went 1300 miles out of my way to buy from them!) I hope for those still waiting for delivery, they come in soon! We saw a load of trucks headed toward Granger as we were leaving yesterday...

Congrats Karl! How funny, I’m aiming to do the exact same tour on my way back to Long Island. Good thing you picked to do it Friday as they don’t have active assembly shown on Saturday. Safe travels and beautiful truck.

Yes. Mine has been in production since 8/21 with a blend date of 8/20. Just concerned because I have taken the Dearborn plant tour before and know it shouldn't take a month to assemble one of these things.

I'm sorry to hear that. I can't imagine being so excited for the truck you wait for to be delivered with those types of issues.

How obvious are the issues you are seeing? Would someone with 50+ year old eyes be able to see? Asking... for a friend.

Definitely. I can see the fuel door over 50 feet away.

Strange behavior on their order tracking website... After checking this every day for the past few months, TODAY it updates the dates that should have been updating for weeks:
