For F150s that came with the Pro Trailer Backup Assist w/ Trailer Reverse Guidance. This is the yaw sensor kit (the sensor you attach to your trailer). I bought my '21 used and it did not come with it, so I bought it for $150. I just traded my truck in and no longer need it.

Do you know if this would work with a fifth wheel trailer converted to a gooseneck Gen-Y hitch? Also, looks like I would need the extra part listed as my 22 with max tow has only the 7 pin connector with a 4 pin below and not the 12 pin connector. Thanks.

It would work with that trailer 100%. Can you snap a picture of you bumper? For this to work you the normal trailer 7pin plug. Above it can't be a 4 plug it's need to be a circular connect that accepts the plug from this yaw sensor in the pics above.

I have a 7 pin above and a 4 pin below. Behind them I have the 12 pin connector that is wire tied to the harness. From your picture, I think I would need to replace mine with the one that has a 7 pin above and the 12 pin below. It is labelled 7/12 pin trailer connector socket.

Interesting. That does sound correct. You have all the wiring. Just need that new socket for the bumper.

It's hardwired to the sensor. Then just plugs into a connector on the bumper.
