I Just got an XLT PowerBoost with 2.4 kw pro power. I have some questions about the Pro Power.
  1. I drove over 500 miles freeway. I looked at the screen and it seems it is not charging the battery. Or I don't know how to read it. How can I tell how much is charged?
  2. When I turn on Pro Power, there is a very loud noise from the bottom of the truck. (not engine noise). Is it from the inverter? It is louder than the normal inverter. Not sure it will be too noisy in the campground.
  3. I was planning to plug in the 120v to power my camper. I may re-consider tapping into the 12V battery. If the 12v battery is too low, do you think the lithium battery will charge it up?
I ordered the PowerBoost and hope I don't need to get a lithium battery to power my camper. Hope I didn't make the wrong decision.

There is not a screen that will show the level of the hybrid battery. It will show where power is coming from to the drive wheels. There are times you are getting power to the wheels from the engine and the battery to help with MPGs, also of course times when it is all battery.

You might want to have the sound checked, mine was very quite but I was only testing it and didn't have it on for long.

Your 12 volt engine battery can not get help from the hybrid battery, so don't run that down. I recommend you keep a NOCO GB 50 vehicle jumper in your truck. they are great and a real life saver!
