As the title says. I'm looking for Powerstop Z36 alternatives. Everything is out of stock in Canada (Amazon included).

The factory rotors wore out after 50,000km and Looking for alternatives.

An update incase anyone was curious. Rockauto had ONE left for the continent of the front pad/rotor package. I snagged it.

I spoke to Powerstop and they said they have had a quality control issue on part Z36-2382 and they are holding shipments of that out. Hope this helps anyone else.

I just installed some Dynamic friction Ultimate Duty Performance pads front and rear. So far so good.

Fronts are 1400-2382-00
Rears are 1400-2383-00

That's odd. Rock auto shows several brands in stock, and available to the Canadian market.

Why buy the kit then? just choose some decent rotors and pads. There's nothing special about Powerstop, and if you want to improve braking performance, you should be avoiding Ceramic pads anyway.

My cousin Hillel has them and he said that they are very good. Plus, I plan on towing.

Fair enough. Ceramic pads are good for rotor life, low dust, and low noise. If you want your truck to stop better, handle heavy loads better, and avoid brake fade- you should choose Semi-Metallic pad formulations

Thanks for the tip. Pads wear out so I'll try those the next go-round.
