Power Step running boards

Has anyone successfully installed Amp Research boards? They told me there is a coolant line in the way and they are about 4 months or so away from having a kit for the Powerboost models. I'm sure there are some ambitious garage mechanics out there who fabricated a fix... if so what did you do? If not Amp has anyone installed a set of factory power steps on the PB? If so was it plug and play?

There was a thread on here a month or so ago about this. The guy simply removed one of the fasteners for the lines and it was able to be moved out of the way.
