the distortion does not disappear when the cabin is cool/cold. this also does not happen immediately at start up. my other vehicles have never had any similar issue like this so i really doubt that this is normal.Noticing the 100F ambient and low AC setting, was this soon after entering the hot truck interior? Does the fade persist after the truck interior has had time to cool a bit?
(might be temporary, related to high screen heat, and that may be 'normal' for the situation?)
No, I've not noticed that corner-fade in Austin summer heat but I may not have been playing close attention.
Then it's time to head to your dealer and make a warranty claim, eh? Or do you envision any other resolution for your concern? What can anyone say here to assuage your concern?..... i really doubt that this is normal.
i was curious to see if anyone else was having this problem. seems like i’m the only one at the moment. Then it's time to head to your dealer and make a warranty claim, eh? Or do you envision any other resolution for your concern? What can anyone say here to assuage your doubt?
Sincerely wish you Good Luck!
the distortion is still present if the temperature exceeds 100 degrees iirc.. it’s not summer time currently so it’s hard for me to replicate this scenarioSeveral had it on the Tremor forum, but only at 100 degrees. At 101 and above it goes away, and when it drops below 100 it goes away. To my knowledge no one figured out why. Makes no sense.
