Took my 23 Lariat Powerboost to dealership for battery issue and a couple of recalls. Of course they both engine bay battery and auxiliary battery. Engine bay battery tested fine but auxiliary battery tested bad so they replaced auxiliary battery. They also did recall for e-brake cable possible rubbing on rear axle. and reprogrammed PCM. Got my truck back so on my way home noticed clock was displaying wrong time. When I got home I went to the clock screen to adjust time and thr screen froze. I wasn't able to clear or reset. All of a sudden the screen went black and no audio. I tried resetting IPMA but no luck. So, I took my truck back the next day and dealership wouldn't look at it. Just said I need to make an appointment which was a week later. Now I'm driving my truck with a black Saturn and no audio for a week. Not a happy camper but I'll deal with dealership later. My question is would there be any issues with reprogramming the PCM that would affect my Sync screen?

Mechanics are not computer people, most cant change oil. Theres a few people on here can look at your vin and tell you what the problem is. I had to do FDRS programming with the help of a guy on here.

I would disconnect the negative cable on both batteries for a few minutes. Maybe turn the headlight switch to on, just to dump any store current in the 12V buss.

Basically rebooting every module onboard.

I think you also need to disconnect the Aux battery as well for a full system, all control circuits discharge

Problem solved? I know nothing, but I'm guessing @Snakebitten is on the right track.

Bummer. :(

Any way for you to harvest DTCs?
Curious if the APIM is throwing codes

I checked for DTC's. None found so I reset APIM again and that corrected the screen issues.
